The opportunity

We now have this great opportunity available!

As the Team Leader, Performance you will manage a team of four in developing & delivering asset management planned works of our water and sewer infrastructure assets.

 

In this role you will ensure 

  • Asset programs are achieving the standards of service expected from our assets
  • lead a team to deliver a designated renewal works program to time, cost and quality requirements. 
  • Value for money is being achieved
  • Contract management and governance is in place and being managed across renewal contracts
  • Renewal works are de-risked and scheduled to maximise project success
  • Continual improvement and optimisation

 

Responsibilities

  • Managing and leading a high-performing team.
  • Overseeing the systems and processes to ensure project delivery of renewals is set up for success.
  • Maintaining oversight of contractual and program performance, ensuring strict alignment with organisational governance and compliance standards.
  • Forecasting & tracking of renewal program spend, supporting annual budgeting and the corporate planning processes.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of asset programs and providing strategic feedback to the planning teams to drive continuous improvement and alignment with organisational goals.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in working in water and sewer asset construction.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a track record of successfully engaging multi-sector stakeholders, from internal operations teams to technical delivery partners to government agencies and community groups.
  • Proven experience in tender, contract management, and procurement.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen, with extensive experience in budget development, financial forecasting, project management and scheduling.
  • Bachelor of Engineering in related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Current driver’s licence.
