The opportunity
An exciting leadership opportunity is now available for a Team Leader, Enterprise Security to work across the organisation to develop and embed enterprise security policies and strategies. Reporting to the Head of Data and Security, you will build and lead a group of high performing security professionals and provide security leadership to the team. This role will work closely with the business and technology operational teams to help deliver innovative solutions that strengthen GWW customer and community trust.
Responsibilities
- Leading and managing a team of technology professionals with a focus on positive employee engagement, creating a culture which drives high performance and achievement and fostering a strong level of collaboration within IT&D.
- Establishing and communicating security policies and standards to enable the organisation to operate within its risk appetite, including relevant governance forums to enable the effective escalation of security risks.
- Continuous security monitoring to detect and respond to potential Enterprise security breaches. This also includes threat modelling to understand and proactively protect against the threats most relevant to the organisation.
- Defining and implementing a framework of processes and technologies that enable the management of electronic or digital identities and associated permissions to perform functions, access data or administer systems.
- Identifying, managing and reporting on Strategic and Operational technology and security related business risks, events and threats in accordance with the Corporate Risk Framework.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a leadership or managerial role with strong leadership and management skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a security related role, with demonstrated experience in running a technology team within a corporate environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights and engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information technology or related field.
