The opportunity

Join GWW in this new role!

As the Delivery Practice Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of IT Programs and ensuring the Centre of Excellence (CoE) team adhere to Program Management best practices and methodologies.

 

Day to day you will be overseeing program management, ensuring priority IT programs are on track and the team are aligned to best practice.

 

Responsibilities

  • Govern and manage the IT initiative delivery including delivery of projects and groups of projects across programs.
  • Co-ordinate the delivery of features and solutions within the digital product/technology platform teams and adapt to a fit for purpose delivery approach and model.
  • Plan, forecast and allocate resources (staff and contractors) to meet and balance demand for enhancement and support IT service delivery.
  • Uplift the capability and maturity of the delivery function with the latest contemporary methodologies.
  • Lead and manage a team of technology professionals, with a focus on positive employee engagement, creating a culture which drives delivery excellence across waterfall, agile and hybrid delivery models.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Proven experience in running a technology delivery team in a corporate environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information technology or related field.
  • Certification in ITIL (desirable)
  • Certification in PRINCE2 or PMBOK (desirable)
