Reporting to the Team Leader, Sewer Asset Optimisation, and working across both the Sewer and Water Asset Optimisation teams as the recognised SME, you will lead the development and review of asset management plans that guide condition monitoring, preventative maintenance and renewal planning across short- and long-term horizons. - Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, Water Supply, Melbourne Water and other stakeholders to integrate operational insights into master planning and ensure alignment with broader industry strategies.
- Identify and manage current and emerging asset risks, working with operational teams to implement mitigation strategies and initiate projects to address asset performance and compliance needs.
- Initiate and support capital projects from planning through delivery, providing SME guidance across all phases of the Portfolio Project Management Framework and maintaining accurate financial forecasting.
- Drive optimisation and innovation across treatment assets, mentoring team members and providing specialist expertise to the Water Asset Optimisation team to support consistent, whole-of-business outcomes.
