The opportunity

 

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the Build Over Easement & Asset Protection team within Growth & Development.

 

Day-to-day you will be providing accurate and timely information to diverse customers and stakeholders, resolving technical and process issues, and proactively identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance system integrity, and improve processes.

 

You will be instrumental in delivering high-quality customer outcomes through the assessment and processing of complex build over easement and plumbing applications, assisting with team training and upskilling, and contributing to a high-performing, customer-focused environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Process and manage build over applications and prepare connection conditions for customers within Greater Western Water’s set target times, and GWW guidelines and customer’s needs.
  • Maintain systems, standards and procedures to ensure the work is completed to a high standard. 
  • Provide support and advice to internal and external customers. (Inc. Councils, Plumbers, Hydraulic Consultants, Surveyors and General Public) 
  • Support Team Leader to maintain a dedicated team, achievement, and customer focused culture. 

 

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a similar role with a high level of technical knowledge in asset management planning, or engineering design standards, and/ or property development would be advantageous.
  • Highly developed negotiation skills, with the ability to consistently reach mutual positive outcomes.
  • Effective communication skills complemented by engaging interpersonal skills and a passion for sharing knowledge.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Experience in process improvement and results-driven mindset who embraces challenges
