The opportunity

The Senior Integration Developer is responsible for designing and developing application integration services in alignment with the software development lifecycle. This role is critical to enabling seamless communication between disparate systems, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting business processes through robust and scalable integration solutions. Working collaboratively with team members, the position maintains awareness of changes in software delivery to ensure accurate and timely communication with stakeholders. The role also supports the Team Lead, Integration Delivery by providing coaching and mentorship to team members, as well as guidance on coding quality and continuous process improvement. Key responsibilities include defining and delivering integration solutions through system specifications, user stories, coding standards, and operational requirements, while driving enhanced operational efficiency through systems analysis and recommendations to improve policies, procedures, and overall performance.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design and build Boomi integration solutions and ADF ETL processes.
  • Manage Azure-based Boomi environments (Dev, Test, UAT PROD) and Linux runtime deployments.
  • Integrate Boomi with Azure services like API Management, Service Bus, and Event Grid.
  • Perform API debugging and execute unit testing
  • Analyze, resolve, and document integration defects while monitoring production services.
  • Manage and maintain Boomi Atoms/Molecules hosted on Azure Linux environments.
  • Investigate and resolve integration failures, connector issues, authentication/cert errors, and node outages.
  • Manage CI/CD deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Implement coding standards, version control, and best practices across all integration projects.
  • Do source code review and necessary improvement when needed.
  • Provide after-hours incident support and manage defect resolution.

Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years’ experience in software and integration development, with demonstrated capability in automation and delivering scalable integration solutions.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and Groovy scripting, with hands-on experience building and maintaining robust integration code.
  • Proven expertise in designing, building, and deploying integrations using platforms such as Boomi (Atoms, Molecules, Cloud Atoms), including REST/SOAP APIs across cloud (AWS, Azure) and on-premises environments.
  • Solid experience with version control and CI/CD practices using Git, GitHub, and Azure DevOps pipelines, with exposure to automated build and deployment processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services including Service Bus, Event Grid, API Management (including policy development), and desirable experience with Azure Data Factory, along with exposure to Linux-based environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in performance optimisation, error handling, authentication/authorisation methods (OAuth2, JWT, OpenID), and working within Agile frameworks using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
