As the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for delivering expert quality business partnering to our key stakeholders, working alongside key business decision makers, influencing, and shaping financial plans and advising on future direction.

 

The role will see you deliver effective financial management, control, and advisory support, assisting the business in understanding its financial performance; formulating strategies to achieve business targets; and improving its ability to forecast future performance.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare expert budgeting and forecasting and provide both strategic and operational advice and support with corporate plans.
  • Create financial plans estimating future performance, and provide both guidance and advice on business case development
  • Lead on complex problem solving through financial analysis and financial advice to derive budgets and optimal solutioning for the Partnering function.
  • Deliver accurate monthly reporting and analysis and provide financial problem-solving support.
  • Ensure compliance and strategic alignment by applying specialised financial management expertise to implement departmental financial strategies, budget priorities, and statutory requirements, including the Financial Management Act and Ministerial Directions

 

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification and CPA/CA are essential.
  • Expert user of excel and advanced analytical skills.
  • Expert forecasting skills and forward-looking approach.
  • Experience across financial and management accounting and with ERP systems.
  • Outstanding communication expertise and exceptional influencing and leadership skills to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience in identifying trends, insights and risks and couple with the ability to set priorities, plan work programs and meet deadlines.
