The opportunity

Do you have a passion for HRIS administration, as well as using data to improve people processes? Greater Western Water (GWW) is seeking a driven People Systems & Insights Specialist to join our team. In this exciting new role, you will play a pivotal role in translating HR information into data to support informed and strategic decision-making and optimise our HR systems in our People, Culture and Safety and Organisational Development & People Experience functions.

 

Day-to-day you will identify and recommend opportunities that will enhance, maintain, maximise, and improve our people systems - Success Factors. Your work will impact and improve our employee experience lifecycle from onboarding to off boarding, employee engagement, turnover, recruitment, and optimise integrations with our PayGlobal platform. Using statistical and analytical techniques, you will uncover insights and trends and provide key information to our business leaders.

  

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and lead the day-to-day maintenance of all Success Factors modules – including conducting investigation for technical / functional issues, and documentation of all system processes and procedures.
  • Lead the development and delivery of the of the People Systems Roadmap, as well as the reporting framework including developing a suite of People Analytics dashboards.
  • Provide accurate people reports to the Board, Executive and Senior Leadership.
  • Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and data governance through monitoring and maintaining the integrity and validity of the data reported, this includes conducting planned and ad hoc data integrity checks across all people systems.
  • Support the administration of other People systems such as Culture Amp, PayGlobal including integration and reporting as required.
  • Partner with IT, SAP and Deloitte relating to support and change requests.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in the use of our in-house HRIS such as Success Factors, MYOB PayGlobal, CultureAmp, (or similar systems e.g. Workday, Ceridian Dayforce)
  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced MS Excel skills
  • Effective analytical and data manipulation skills, with expertise in statistical analysis and data modelling.
  • Customer centric focus approach combined with the ability to understand, respond, and deliver to a diverse stakeholder customer base.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team to achieve key deliverables.
  • Confidence and continuous improvement approach in working proactively in a deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to apply new and creative ideas to generate workplace innovation and improvements.
  • Excellent written communication skills including the ability prepare clear, concise, and accurate written documents.
