The opportunity

Due to an internal movement, we now have this exciting position available.

As the Senior Advisor, HSEQ Systems and Assurance reporting to the Manager HSEQ Systems and Assurance, you will provide ongoing improvement of the HSEQ management system, including policy, process, enterprise frameworks, associated technology and competency frameworks. 

The role will also see you lead improvement through project delivery and supporting the development of deep insights into risk and performance opportunities. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Continually improve HSEQ Policies, Processes and Frameworks to shape a positive user experience, manage risk and maintain certification to ISO9001, 14001 and 45001.
  • Work collaboratively across the business to identify, define and lead improvements to the HSEQ management system, maintain and continually evolve the HSEQ data frameworks and processes for maintaining data integrity.
  • Periodic review and monitoring, evaluating and implementing management system changes. 
  • Manage the publication and control of HSEQ documents and records.
  • Assist in the development of HSEQ learning modules and competency frameworks and ensure training content remains relevant
  • Provide business and end user leadership for the ongoing development of enabling technology systems and services, such as The Bridge, Link Safe and CodeSafe.

 

 

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated understanding and working knowledge of project management, occupational risk management and health and safety management systems.
  • Experience in the development and continuous improvement of certified management systems (ISO9001, 14001 or 45001).
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Victorian Environmental and OHS legislation, and experience in interpretation of compliance obligations for practical application.
  • Tertiary qualification, Diploma or professional certification (e.g. AIHS, EIANZ) in a HSEQ discipline or related field.
  • Essential qualification as Lead auditor (Health, Safety, Environment or Quality).
  • This role requires regular travel to our offices and operational sites; a current valid Victorian driver’s licence is essential, and access to a personal vehicle is highly desirable.
