The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in strengthening the stability and reliability of our billing ecosystem. You’ll join a Billing Operations team that is working closely with Technology Operations and partners across the wider enterprise to deliver meaningful improvements that support our customers, safeguard revenue and uphold regulatory obligations. As the Project Manager, Billing Operations, you will lead a small, high-performing team to drive operational excellence across the Billing and Property to Cash functions—enhancing processes, embedding robust work practices, and enabling clear, consistent and accurate daily operations. Partnering with Training, Quality and Customer Operations, you will ensure new processes are adopted effectively, frontline capability is elevated and teams are set up for success as we uplift the way we operate.

 

Responsibilities

Billing Project Delivery

  • Lead billing operational projects to improve stability, accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop project plans, schedules and resources; manage sequencing and readiness for EU billing requirements.
  • Capture and validate operational requirements, processes and testing needs.
  • Coordinate run sheets, playbooks and daily oversight; manage risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Partner with technical teams on defect resolution, testing and operational sign-off.
  • Maintain clear, accurate operational documentation.

Operational Change

  • Deliver process, configuration and customer communication updates across Billing Operations.
  • Coordinate operational fixes, exception resolution, data corrections and redress activities.
  • Work with Tech Ops, Data, Regulatory and Product teams to assess impacts and ensure readiness.
  • Oversee process documentation, knowledge content and work instructions
  • Ensure changes are validated, communicated and embedded across teams.

Delivery & Governance

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of multiple initiatives, support planning and business cases.
  • Track benefits, report progress and present to senior leaders.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors on scope, timelines and success criteria.
  • Lead workshops and forums to communicate scope, delivery approach and change impacts.
  • Act as the link between operations, IT and system integrators; manage interdependencies with other projects.

 

Skills & Experience

 

  • 2+ years’ experience in project management delivering complex enterprise security projects.
  • Experience within a highly regulated environment.
  • Strong understanding of cyber security principles, frameworks and best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership with strong attention to detail, prioritisation and workload coordination aligned to business needs.
  • Proven capability in budget management, time management, facilitation, reporting and organisational skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Working knowledge of ITIL and change management principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound decision-making in high-pressure environments.
  • Experience managing vendor deliverables and ensuring accountability.
  • Self-motivated, able to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience implementing the ACSC Essential Eight within enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
  • Experience implementing Application Control in large-scale organisations.
  • Experience with project delivery methodologies such as Waterfall or PMBOK is preferred.
