The opportunity
We’re seeking a Program Manager to lead a critical IT program of work focused on restoring and strengthening our Trade Waste and Backflow Prevention compliance capability, ultimately ensuring water and sewage quality compliance.
This role will manage a program to design and deliver key IT system enhancements and business process changes, ensuring trade waste and backflow can be managed to ensure alignment with regulatory obligations, water quality standards and organisational frameworks. You’ll play a central role in identifying compliance risks, delivering a structured recovery plan for IT systems that are not currently fit for purpose, and ensuring critical milestones are achieved.
Acting as the key interface between Business Customer Services, Service Delivery and Digital teams, you’ll bring clarity, structure and momentum to a complex program of work with high organisational impact.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Trade Waste & Backflow work package within a major enterprise IT program
- Develop and deliver a clear roadmap to restore and maintain compliance capability through IT solutions
- Identify, assess and manage compliance risks, drive mitigation and recovery actions IT system and process solutions as product owner
- Manage stakeholders across business and technology to deliver prioritised outcomes
- Establish governance, reporting and tracking to ensure delivery against key milestones
Skills & Experience
- Strong experience leading complex programs or projects across business and technology
- Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and influence across an organisation
- Experience working in regulatory, compliance or risk-driven environments
- Ability to translate business needs into IT system and process improvements
- Strong planning, organisation and delivery skills in complex environments
- Qualifications: PRINCE2, AIPM, PMBOK or similar project/program management certification (highly desirable)
