The opportunity
A rewarding opportunity is now available for a Program Manager, Price Submission to lead the coordination of the development and delivery of GWW’s 2028 price submission to the Essential Services Commission (ESC). Reporting to the Manager of Price Submission and Regulation, this role provides oversight, leadership, and program coordination across the business to ensure the submission reflects customer priorities, regulatory requirements, and organisational strategy. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Program Manager to help shape the next price submission to the Regulator, by driving collaboration and inputs, and managing risks while ensuring the program delivers high quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Working with Senior Management and contributing to the vision and direction for the price submission program, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and customer expectations.
- Leading the planning, coordination, and execution of the price submission program in line with the ESC’s guidance paper and PREMO framework.
- Managing risks, dependencies, and issues, escalating where necessary to Senior Management, the Executive and Board.
- Coordinating engagement with internal stakeholders and stream leads as required, including executives and cross-functional teams when needed.
- Providing regular and transparent reporting on program progress, risks, and outcomes for Senior Management, the Executive and Board, while ensuring governance structures are in place to support accountability and compliance.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in program or project management within regulated industries, preferably utilities or essential services.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive and board levels.
- Advanced analytical, financial, and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to prepare persuasive submissions and reports.
- Essential tertiary qualification in a relevant business discipline (such as Project Management, Economics, Finance, Business or Business Administration)
