The opportunity

An exciting 12-month fixed term opportunity now exists for an experienced Program Coordinator to support program managers and project delivery managers as part of our Path Out program.  In this role, you will ensure project planning and delivery is aligned to the broader program objectives, whilst a consistent approach is applied to project controls, the execution of deliverables, and the management of risks and issues. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a master schedule for the overall program, ensuring key dependencies and scheduling conflicts within the program are identified.
  • Ensure that the MASTER schedule incorporates SDL and lead times and aligned to other functional areas such as operations and customer experience.
  • Create and maintain a rolling resource forecast for the program, ensuring lead time is provided to program managers to address resource gaps.
  • Proactively prepare and facilitate resource requirements meetings as required, with Program Managers to highlight resource gaps for resolution.
  • Prepare and facilitate regular risk management meetings with program and project managers, ensuring risk management register is current and aligned with GWW’s risk management framework.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience of project scheduling for multiple projects and business as usual dependencies.
  • Ability to identify, document and report on delivery risks at a project and program level, ensuring that risk treatment actions are assigned and monitored for completion. 
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate processes and information, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong co-ordination skills relating to developing and managing plans for assigned activities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think proactively and execute appropriately.
