The opportunity
As the Process Lead, you’ll provide strategic leadership to embed a consistent and stable way working that delivers reliability, value, and confidence in how maintenance and operational work is planned, executed, and governed.
With structural changes and insourcing of work having just taken place in the function, you’ll lead the design and implementation of clear end-to-end processes, ensuring defined roles, performance measures, and seamless collaboration across teams who are newly working together. This role will play a pivotal part in improving contractor performance, governance, inventory management, and fault response while building stronger alignment between planning and delivery.
It’s a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives on shaping how complex operational environments work — balancing strategic foresight with practical delivery to embed sustainable stabilisation and accountability across the business
Responsibilities
• Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end operational and maintenance processes.
• Drive standardisation, accountability, and performance across service delivery functions.
• Analyse and stabilise workflows, governance, and performance frameworks.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and delivery partners to align objectives and outcomes.
• Provide high-level insights and recommendations to improve operational stability.
• Facilitate workshops, reporting, and governance meetings to embed new ways of working.
• Champion HSEQ culture and ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory standards.
Skills & Experience
• Extensive experience leading complex process design or business improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of maintenance operations in large, multi-site, or asset-intensive environments.
• Skilled in process mapping, data analysis, performance measurement, work instruction documentation, and governance frameworks.
• Proven stakeholder engagement and influencing capability across operational and executive levels.
• Excellent analytical and technical writing skills with experience producing policies, manuals, and standards.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, and process documentation tools.
• Degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering or similar discipline
