The opportunity 
Join our Service Delivery team in a role that ensures our contractor payments are accurate, timely and fully compliant. 
As the Officer, Contracts Payment & Compliance, you’ll play a key part in validating completed work, processing payments, and maintaining strong financial controls across vendor transactions. 
You’ll manage requisitions and purchase orders, carry out essential system checks, and support transparency and accountability across our commercial operations. 
This is a great role for someone with strong attention to detail who enjoys working with both data and people, contributing to smooth operational and financial outcomes.


Responsibilities

•    Validate contractor work and ensure all payments align with contracts, completed works and compliance requirements.
•    Process invoices, claims and purchase orders with accuracy, following organisational policies and financial controls.
•    Conduct system checks and reconciliations to minimise discrepancies and strengthen audit readiness.
•    Manage requisitions and PO creation to support efficient operational delivery.
•    Build positive working relationships with internal teams and external contractors to resolve issues quickly and maintain smooth workflows.
•    Contribute to a safe, compliant and high-performing environment through active support of HSEQ expectations.


Skills & Experience

•    Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyse information and resolve discrepancies.
•    Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively or independently.
•    Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and confident learning financial or works-management systems.
•    Experience in accounts payable, contract administration, procurement or similar roles (desirable).
•    Familiarity with SharePoint Online and financial/operational software (advantage).
•    Certificate in Business Administration or equivalent experience/qualification (desirable)
