The opportunity

Are you a strategic and detail-oriented leader with a passion for governance, risk, compliance and reporting?

 

We’re seeking a Manager, Governance and Reporting to play a pivotal role in strengthening trust, transparency, and coordination across a high-profile program. This role will establish and lead a robust governance framework, ensuring effective internal and external assurance, outcome reporting, and stakeholder engagement. You will be instrumental in driving consistent, prioritised, and well-managed review and reporting processes, working constructively across the organisation while also leading a team and contributing to the success of the broader program.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead the implementation of a robust and adaptive governance framework, including oversight mechanisms, to ensure effective decision-making.
  • Oversee assurance activities, managing relationships with external assurance providers and driving alignment with governance across program streams.
  • Establish and lead prioritisation governance, ensuring strategic alignment and transparency.
  • Robust risk management ensuring program risks are actively monitored, escalated, and addressed in collaboration with program leads.
  • Embed continuous improvement across governance and risk functions, applying insights and recommendations from internal and external reviews to strengthen frameworks and processes.
  • Lead enterprise-level reporting and stakeholder engagement, including the preparation of strategic briefings, Board and executive updates, and the development of a forward-looking program outlook.
  • Ensure compliance with information governance standards, including robust records management and adherence to data security and privacy obligations.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Proven expertise in governance, assurance, and enterprise risk management within complex and dynamic programs
  • Strong project and program management skills, understanding why governance matters
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver high-quality reporting and briefings to Executive and Board-level stakeholders
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement and relationship management, including representing the organisation to external bodies and regulators
  • Sound commercial acumen with the ability to align governance, risk, and reporting practices to strategic priorities
  • Experience in incident management, including coordination and response in high-stakes or regulated settings
  • Deep understanding of regulatory, compliance, and information governance frameworks
