The opportunity
As the Manager, People and Performance, you will lead a high-impact team of Consultants and Employee Communication Specialists, delivering enterprise-wide solutions that strengthen leadership capability, performance, culture, employee experience, and inclusion.
Reporting to the Head of Organisational Development and Performance, you will design and deliver integrated systems, tools, and behaviours that enable leaders and teams to excel. You’ll ensure initiatives are not only strategically sound but clearly communicated, understood, and adopted across the organisation.
Working closely with executives, senior leaders, and cross-functional teams, you will embed Greater Performance — a unified approach linking accountability, capability, and culture to achieve sustainable results.
With enterprise reach, this role offers the opportunity to shape organisational strategy, drive cultural transformation, and ensure the employee experience is inclusive, high-performing, and aligned to business priorities.
Responsibilities
• Lead and develop a high-performing team delivering outcomes across performance, culture, engagement, inclusion, and leadership.
• Design and embed enterprise solutions for performance, talent, succession, and capability uplift.
• Partner with senior leaders to drive culture change and enhance employee experience.
• Oversee enterprise engagement and culture diagnostics, translating insights into targeted actions.
• Ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion principles are integrated into all people systems and practices.
Skills & Experience
• Proven leadership experience in organisational development, culture, or performance at an enterprise level.
• Advanced expertise in designing, implementing, and evaluating performance, talent, and leadership frameworks that deliver measurable outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills with senior leaders.
• Demonstrated success in leading, developing, and inspiring high-performing teams to achieve strategic objectives.
• Experience in a water, utility or public sector (highly desirable)
• Tertiary qualification in organisational psychology or organisation development (highly desirable)
