The opportunity

Greater Western Water is looking for a dynamic Architecture Practice Manager to drive its enterprise architecture vision. You’ll lead a team of architects, align tech strategy with business goals, and deliver smart, scalable solutions. Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll shape the digital roadmap, set architecture standards, and ensure future-ready, cost-effective IT outcomes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of architects.
  • Build and manage the Architecture Centre of Excellence (CoE).
  • Align IT architecture with business strategy and goals.
  • Develop and communicate a clear architecture vision and lead the development and implementation of the architecture vision and strategy
  • Define and maintain enterprise-wide architecture and roadmaps.
  • Set and enforce architecture standards, frameworks, and governance.
  • Translate business needs into scalable, compliant technical designs.
  • Identify and drive adoption of emerging technologies.
  • Manage technology risks, including technical debt and system integration.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to influence stakeholders including C-level executives.
  • Skilled at managing priorities and deadlines in a fast-changing environment.
  • Ability to develop and articulate a clear technology architecture vision.
  • Experience in enterprise and/or solution architecture roles.
  • Deep knowledge of architecture practices, methodologies, and governance.
