The opportunity

The Administration Officer supports Development Officers by efficiently handling inquiries and applications in the land development sector while ensuring compliance with safety, financial, and regulatory standards.

The Administration Officer will provide administrative support to Development Officers in the processing of applications from the land development industry. The role ensures enquiries and applications are responded to efficiently and effectively and is consistent with GWW’s safety, asset management, financial and regulatory requirements. The role requires attention to detail along with strong customer skills.

 

Responsibilities

  • Undertake team-based administrative tasks such as processing applications and payments, conducting verification, managing correspondence and records, generating reports, and updating procedures.
  • Respond to customer enquiries.
  • Provide procurement and administrative support to the Developer Applications Team by sourcing quotes, ordering supplies, raising purchase orders, and managing invoices.
  • Work constructively and collaboratively with internal stakeholders to deliver on business objectives.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to respond to customer enquiries (ask relevant questions to establish needs) to consistently exceed their expectations.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with particularly capability to perform as part of a rotation with other members so that they can easily follow and support each other.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate processes and missing information to applicants (both written and verbal)

 

  • A working knowledge of practices and procedures relating to the Land Development industry with experience within GWW approach or similar.
  • Demonstrated experience in sound record management highlighting an “attention to detail” approach.
  • Ability to use computer software and hardware including PDF, MS Word, Excel and GIS
