The opportunity
Support best practice governance at Greater Western Water as our Deputy Corporate Secretary.
Partnering with the Corporate Secretary, you will coordinate Board and Committee operations, including agendas, papers, minutes and action tracking, ensuring high-quality and timely outputs.
You’ll provide trusted advice to Directors, Executives and senior leaders on governance, integrity and compliance matters, while maintaining governance frameworks, registers and statutory obligations.
Acting as a key liaison across the Board and organisation, you will help enable transparent, accountable decision‑making and step into the Corporate Secretary role as required.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate Board and Committee processes including agendas, papers, minutes and action tracking
- Provide governance, integrity and compliance advice to Directors and senior stakeholders
- Manage Board communications, correspondence and governance records
- Maintain governance registers including conflicts of interest, declarations and statutory reporting
- Build strong relationships across the Board, Executive and key stakeholders, with opportunities to act as Corporate Secretary
Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience in a corporate governance or corporate secretariat role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including Board-level documentation
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to strict deadlines
- Sound knowledge of governance, compliance and confidentiality requirements
- Ability to influence and build effective relationships with senior stakeholders
