We’re a Victorian government owned water corporation that provides water and wastewater services. Our service area stretches from Melbourne’s city centre through to Lancefield in the north and Bacchus Marsh in the west and is home to some of the fastest-growing communities in Australia. 

 

The opportunity  

An exciting opportunity to work with the Operations team, based at either of our Footscray or Sunbury Offices and reporting to the Team Leader, Operations Centre.   

As a critical operations team member, you will provide an exceptional customer service experience, that delivers efficient and timely emergency response communications to our customers.   

If you are driven to provide solution focused outcomes that assist our customers, through the coordination of the emergency standard procedures, ensuring efficient and timely outcomes, then this is your chance to join our team.  

 

Duties  

  • Respond to inbound emergency requests received both electronically or by telephone from customers for reported faults in a timely manner.  
  • Report and monitor all faults and emergencies as advised by other departments and authorities.  
  • Accurately process work requests for contractors in a timely and efficient manner.  
  • Provide administration support to assist in the Operations Centre.  
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives that contribute to the delivery of an exceptional customer service experience.  

 

Skills & Experience  

  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal, with sound conflict resolutions skills.  
  • Committed to delivering a superior customer service experience to all stakeholders within a Call Centre environment  
  • Able to work collaboratively within the team to build a positive team environment  
  • Sound and efficient working knowledge of MS office applications.  
  • Process driven mind-set ensuring policies, procedures and practices are followed.
