The opportunity

The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for providing ongoing support, analysis and enhancement of Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with a focus on the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) module in partnership with a Managed Service Provider. The role also supports Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) system, ensuring the reliability, performance and usability of key financial and operation planning and forecasting tools in partnership with a Managed Service Provider. You will be the liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating business requirements into effective solutions in partnership with Managed Services.
You will also play an essential role in ensuring the smooth operation, efficiency, and continuous improvement of our core business systems, including Oracle PBCS, Oracle ERP, Atlassian, Kronos, Promaster, More4Apps, Docusign, and Linksafe.
Responsibilities
- Development and management of standards and procedures to ensure the effective operation of the Oracle ERP & PBCS environment.
- Provide expertise across all aspects of the system operations, incidents and work requests with Managed Services, in accordance with agreed service levels and established processes/procedures.
- Provide specialist advice on the Oracle ERP capabilities and usage as required.
- Identify, allocate and maintain plans, schedules across stream improvements as well as maintenance of operational stability and quality to align with business requirements and industry best practice and trends.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements to support the business applications implementation, maintenance and enhancements
Skills & Experience
- Experience working with Oracle PBCS, Oracle EBS (Finance, Procurement, Assets and Projects) and Oracle OBIEE
- Experience and advanced expertise across the MS Office suite
- Experience in designing, developing, and writing of testing scripts
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Tertiary qualification in business/ finance/ computing and/or a related discipline.
