The opportunity 
Join our Operational Technology team as the SCADA Administrator, responsible for the operation, maintenance, and optimisation of GWW’s Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of critical control systems that support water and wastewater operations. This position involves application maintenance, software installation and upgrades, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support and training to system users.
Collaborating with engineers, field technicians, and system integrators, you’ll help meeting the required system up time SLAs, maintain secure, efficient, and modern SCADA and telemetry infrastructure that enables data and process visibility across the business.

 

Responsibilities
•    Manage the day-to-day operation and maintenance of core SCADA platforms (e.g., Geo SCADA, OSI PI), including system configuration, patching, and user access control.
•    Coordinate and provide technical support for system upgrades, extensions, and enhancements
•    Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure system performance and reliability.
•    Monitor SCADA and associated radio/telemetry alarm systems to ensure data integrity and maintain accountability for replacement parts stock.
•    Provide training and support to operators and field staff. Provide essential technical support and deliver training programs to operators and field staff on SCADA usage and control system assets.
•    Coordinate security improvements and system documentation.

 

Skills & Experience
•    Strong knowledge of SCADA and operational technology systems (e.g. ClearSCADA, GeoSCADA, Citect).
•    Experience in control systems, automation, telemetry, or electrical engineering.
•    Proficiency in fault diagnosis, maintenance, and system optimisation.
•    Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse technical and operational teams.
•    Tertiary qualification in engineering, operational technology, IT, or equivalent experience.
