The opportunity

Join our Inventory & Logistics team in a permanent full-time role and play a key part in supporting safe and efficient depot operations across GWW.

As a Depot Yard & Store Person, you’ll maintain the day-to-day operations of our depot yard and warehouse, ensuring stock is well managed, sites are safe and organised, and operational crews have the materials they need to deliver essential services.

Working closely with depot teams, contractors and suppliers, you’ll support inventory, coordinate deliveries and dispatch, and contribute to maintaining a clean, safe and high-performing yard environment.

Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack and manage inventory, ensuring accurate stock handling and storage
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised depot yard, including inspections and general upkeep
  • Receive deliveries, record stock movements and support dispatch processes
  • Assist with spoil and materials management, coordinating contractors as required
  • Support basic purchasing activities and communicate stock requirements
  • Follow safety procedures and contribute to a strong HSEQ culture

 

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a warehouse, yard or logistics environment
  • Strong commitment to safety and safe manual handling practices
  • Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on, outdoor work
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Valid forklift license (Highly desirable)
  • Driver’s license (Essential)
