The opportunity  

We have a rare opportunity to join our Maintenance Services and Control System Team as an Instrumentation Technician! Your role will involve maintaining, repairing and enhancing the reliability of instrument and electrical assets within GWW, recycled treatment plant, water treatment plants and pump stations. Provide your expertise in the calibration, repair and maintenance of instruments and electrical equipment within our positive and expert team at GWW. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Carry out allocated maintenance work requests/orders for repairs, calibrations and maintenance to Instrumentation and Electrical Systems. 

  • Identify maintenance requirements for new/existing electrical and instrumentation assets. 

  • Plan and Rectify Responsive Maintenance 

  • Use effective fault finding/diagnostic skills in the area of electrical, PLC and instrumentation. 

  • Work across GWW to deliver critical projects 
     

Skills & Experience 

To succeed in this role, you are required to have the following: 

  • An A Grade Electrical Licence  

  • Certificate IV in Electrical Instrumentation 

  • Knowledge of three phase system (Motors, Drives etc) 

  • Relevant trade or Industrial experience 

  • Knowledge of Asset Maintenance  

  • Experience working with SCADA systems 

  • The ability to effectively communicate and build internal and external relationships across all levels
